Building Content Around Product Use Cases For AI Search

Hey, I’m Chris Long with Nectiv, and today’s GEO tip is to really ensure that you have content built out for the specific use cases people will be searching or prompting for.

With the advent of AI Mode and new LLMs, people are going to be searching for way more specific things than they ever have before. So you need to account for the real problems your ICP is going to type into an LLM, and make sure you have content that matches that.

Right?

So here, I just went in and asked:

“Hey, what’s the best push notification platform for iOS?”

That’s a specific problem — and I want to find the best solution for it. And here you can see some providers already have content that shows up.

  • PushEngage has a listicle article.

  • There’s help documentation from OneSignal.

  • Another “best mobile push notification” article from OneSignal.

As a result, some of these brands actually get mentioned in the AI Mode output. Because they have content that serves these specific needs across their ICPs, they’re in a much better position to appear when people search around those exact problems.

People are going to be searching longer, more detailed queries in these LLMs.

Make sure you have content that matches what people are searching — at the level of detail they’re actually using.
