Reddit Engagement Hub
The platform behind our Reddit work. It tracks what each client's market is discussing, scores the threads worth a reply, and records what happens after. Every reply is written, approved, and posted by a person.
Built for How Reddit Works
Social listening tools report mentions. Reddit asks for more than that: every subreddit enforces its own rules, moderators remove content that reads as promotional, and the conversations worth joining are often the ones that never name a brand at all. We built the Hub so monitoring, subreddit rules, engagement history, and outcome tracking sit in one place and inform each other.
Program Overview in One Screen
The overview reports mention volume and stance across the last 30 days, the threads currently waiting in the queue, and the topics moving in the tracked subreddits.
Mentions are classified by stance toward the brand rather than surface sentiment, so a positive sentence about a competitor is recorded as what it is. Activity from the client's own Reddit accounts appears in the same view, which keeps participation visible next to the opportunity.
How the Platform Is Organized
Monitor
Continuous capture of brand, competitor, and topic mentions across the tracked subreddits, with research views for topics, authors, and communities.
Engage
A scored queue of threads worth a reply, with each subreddit's rules and enforcement history alongside, and a recorded reason whenever the team passes.
Draft
A workspace where the reply is written and checked automatically against eight rules before anyone reviews it.
Track
Nightly checks on everything posted: what is still live, what moderators removed, and what engagement it earned.
Topics the Market Is Discussing
Monitoring a brand name reports what people say about that brand. It does not surface the conversations the brand is not yet part of.
The platform reads every thread in the tracked subreddits and extracts the subjects being discussed, with no keyword list to maintain. Each subject is then tracked over time by thread count, distinct authors, and velocity against its own baseline, which identifies a topic while its threads are still active.
From a Topic Trend to the Source Threads
Opening a topic shows its movement over 28 days, how it splits across subreddits, and every thread the numbers were drawn from. Each assignment traces back to specific comments, so a figure used in a strategy document can be checked against its source.
Topics also feed the work directly. Flagging one as a priority routes new threads discussing it into the engagement queue.
Five Engagement Rules, Enforced in the Workflow
Each rule is enforced by a mechanism in the drafting workflow rather than stated as guidance.
Answer the question first
The reply has to stand on its own as useful to the person who asked. A draft moves forward only once someone attests to that, and the attestation is recorded with their name.
Link only where it helps and is welcome
Links are checked against what each subreddit permits. Where a link would get the comment removed, the reply stands on its own words instead, and the team is told why.
Disclose affiliation
Every reply that requires a disclosure gets one, checked automatically. Each client sets the wording, so it reads as a person speaking rather than a compliance footer.
Write every reply fresh
New drafts are scored against everything posted previously, so each contribution answers the specific question in front of it. Repetition is what gets participation pattern-matched as spam.
Participate at a human pace
A pacing guardrail holds posting to two replies per subreddit per week. Exceeding it requires a written reason that is audited.
Scoring the Threads Worth a Reply
Most threads that mention a category are not worth a reply. The question may already be answered, the thread may be too old to matter, or the subreddit may remove the comment.
Each candidate receives a score from 0 to 100 built from relevance, answerability, and freshness. Only threads scoring 50 and above reach the queue, and the window closes after seven days. Every score opens into a plain breakdown of the reasons behind it, which is what lets a person overrule it.
Written Rules and Observed Enforcement
Every subreddit publishes rules. What moderators actually enforce is often a different document, and the difference between the two is where brands get removed.
The Hub stores both. Written rules are versioned, so a quiet policy change is visible, and the enforcement record reports what was removed, by whom, how long it survived first, and which rule it most likely breached. That evidence feeds the drafting context directly.
How Replies Are Written, and What the Data Can Show
Drafted in the Platform, Posted by a Person
The Hub drafts and checks. Eight automated checks run on every save, covering links, length, disclosure, banned phrases, factual claims, repetition, pacing, and whether the thread needs a subject-matter expert. A person then reviews the draft, the client approves it, and a person posts it from a real account and records the permalink. That recorded link is what starts outcome tracking.
Coverage Is Stated, Not Assumed
Reporting states how much of a conversation was captured rather than implying a complete record. Trend lines render only where a baseline supports them, topic pairings appear only above a minimum co-occurrence, and a thin topic shows its counts with the trend suppressed.
Removal Data Is a Floor
Removal counts reflect content captured before it was taken down. Instant automated removals are never observed, so the totals are reported as a floor rather than a complete count.
